MEET OUR OWNERS

James Curtis, our Founder and President, is a distinguished retired United States Navy Captain. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Entomology from the University of Florida and a Master of Arts in Teaching in Biology from The Citadel.

Alan Dismore, our Vice President, Certified Pest Control Operator, and Operations Manager earned his Bachelor's degree in Communications from Valdosta State University. He then embarked on his career in the pest control industry. Shortly after the establishment of CPC in 1992, he became an essential member of the our team. 

Kevin Curtis earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Florida and holds a certification as a Pest Control Operator.

ABOUT OUR COMPANY

Curtis Pest Control, Inc. was founded in 1992 by James Curtis who envisioned transforming the pest control industry through his entomology expertise paired with exceptional care and service. Following the success of our inaugural location in Jacksonville, we expanded by opening our St. Augustine office. Ultimately, we combined both locations and now operate exclusively from St. Augustine. After James and Kevin's retirement, Alan, our Vice President and Certified Pest Control Operator, took over the management and operations of Curtis Pest Control. In 2005, Alan’s wife, Kimberly, also became part of our team, assuming the role of Office Manager.

January 2022 marked a significant milestone for us as we proudly celebrated our 30th Anniversary. We eagerly anticipate many more years of serving the lawn and home needs of St. Augustine, Florida.
